2. Scope

This Policy applies to starbonding.com, oem.starbonding.com, registration and account pages, the StarBonding Windows application and CLI, Partner API, payment and support interactions, and the servers used to bond and restream configured live-stream traffic. It also applies when an authorised OEM, partner or reseller submits or manages customer information through StarBonding. It does not govern independent processing by an OEM or partner in its own application or customer relationship, or by destination platforms, Internet providers, payment providers and other third parties under their own policies.

4. How we collect data

5. Why we use personal data

6. Partner and customer responsibilities

Star Video Vision is the data fiduciary for processing it determines for the StarBonding Service. An OEM, partner or reseller may separately determine why and how it collects customer data in its own product or commercial relationship and is responsible for its own privacy notice, legal basis, security and response to customer requests. By submitting customer data to StarBonding, the partner represents that it is authorised to do so and has provided all notices and obtained all consents required by law. We may refer a request to the relevant partner where that partner controls the customer relationship, while still meeting our own legal obligations.

7. Legal grounds

We process personal data where you have consented, where you or an authorised partner voluntarily provides data for a requested purpose, where processing is necessary to provide the Service or fulfil a transaction, and for other uses permitted or required by applicable law. Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw it using the contact details below. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully completed and may prevent features that require the data.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

The website may use essential cookies or similar storage for login, session continuity, security, fraud prevention, preferences and payment flow. We may also use limited measurement tools to understand website performance. Where consent is legally required for a non-essential cookie, we will request it before use. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, registration or payment functions.

9. When we share data

We share only data reasonably necessary for the following purposes:

We do not sell personal data and do not use live-stream contents for behavioural advertising.

10. International processing

StarBonding may route streaming traffic or process supporting data in India and other countries where bonding servers or service providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. We use appropriate contractual, technical and organisational measures and comply with restrictions imposed by applicable Indian law.

11. Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary or required by law. Account, licence, partner-permission and customer-provisioning records are normally kept while active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Partner API transactions, idempotency records, wallet or credit records, invoices, tax and accounting records are retained for reconciliation and applicable financial and tax periods. System, API, network and security logs are retained for operational and cybersecurity purposes, including applicable CERT-In requirements. Live-stream content is processed in transit; short operational buffers are overwritten or discarded and are not intended as permanent recordings. Support communications and diagnostics are retained as reasonably necessary to resolve issues and handle disputes. Data is deleted, anonymised or securely isolated when retention is no longer necessary, subject to legal holds and obligations.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls, service monitoring, network and server protections, credential and API-key handling procedures, backups where appropriate, and incident response. No Internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Protect account passwords, Partner API keys, RTMP URLs and stream keys; keep API keys out of distributed applications and public repositories; and promptly report suspected exposure.

13. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law and identity verification, you may request a summary of personal data and processing information; correction, completion or updating of inaccurate data; erasure where data is no longer needed; withdrawal of consent; cessation of non-essential marketing; and grievance redressal. Send requests to support@starbonding.com from the email associated with your account. If an OEM or partner manages your account, you may also contact that organisation; we may coordinate with it where necessary to verify and fulfil the request. We may request proportionate information to verify identity and will respond within the period required by applicable law.

14. Children

The Service is intended for adults and business users. We do not knowingly permit a person under 18 to create an account or intentionally collect a child's personal data. Partners must not submit a child's personal data unless expressly authorised by StarBonding and permitted by law. Contact support@starbonding.com if you believe a child has provided personal data.

15. Automated decisions

The Service may automatically select or rebalance network links, route sessions, apply plan or partner limits and flag security or abuse indicators to provide and protect the Service. We do not use personal data to make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects unless separately disclosed and permitted by law.

16. Data breaches and legal requests

We maintain incident-response procedures. Where applicable law requires notification of a personal-data breach, we will provide the required notice and, where relevant, coordinate with an affected authorised partner. We assess government and law-enforcement requests and disclose data only where required or permitted by applicable law and valid process.

17. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Service, law, technology or our practices. The revised Policy will show a new effective date. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where practicable and request fresh consent where applicable law requires it.
