StarBonding Terms of Service

Terms governing the StarBonding website, software, OEM tools, Partner API and live-stream transmission service

Effective date: 20 August 2026

Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account, installing, downloading, redistributing or using a StarBonding software component, using the Partner API, starting a trial, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service or distribute its components.

1. Provider and scope

StarBonding is provided by Star Video Vision ("we", "us" or "our"), Hyderabad, India. These Terms apply to starbonding.com, oem.starbonding.com, related account and payment pages, the official Windows application, the StarBonding command-line executable ("CLI"), the Partner API, documentation, and servers and support services used to provide network bonding and restreaming (collectively, the "Service"). StarBonding is designed for live streaming. It is not a general-purpose VPN, anonymity service, Internet-access provider or archival video-storage service.

2. Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. If you use the Service for a company, organisation, client or other person, you represent that you have authority to bind that party.

3. Accounts and security

• Provide accurate, current and complete registration, billing and contact information and keep it updated.
• Keep passwords, API keys, activation information, RTMP URLs, stream keys and destination credentials confidential. Partner API keys must be kept server-side and must not be embedded in distributed client applications.
• An account owner may authorise its employees, contractors, production crew or customers to use an account under its control, subject to applicable plan and simultaneous-use limits. The account owner remains responsible for their activity.
• Credentials and service accounts may not be publicly distributed, sold, rented or transferred except through an authorised partner, reseller or written transfer arrangement.
• You are responsible for activity through your account, API key or installation except to the extent caused by our breach of these Terms or applicable law.
• Notify support@starbonding.com promptly about unauthorised use, credential exposure or a security incident.

4. Software components and licences

4.1 Proprietary application and service

Subject to these Terms and your plan limits, we grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to install and use the proprietary StarBonding application and Service for lawful live streaming during the applicable trial or paid period. Except for the express CLI permission below, an applicable open-source licence, or where applicable law expressly permits it, you must not copy, modify, distribute, rent, lease, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, defeat licence or security controls, extract proprietary components, or create a derivative product.

4.2 Official Windows GUI source

The source code specifically identified as the StarBonding Windows GUI source is released under the MIT License included with that source. The MIT License governs that source code and prevails over inconsistent restrictions in these Terms. This does not place the CLI, bonding service, servers, StarBonding trademarks or unrelated proprietary code under the MIT License.

4.3 StarBonding CLI redistribution

You may integrate, package and redistribute an unmodified official copy of starbonding-cli.exe with personal, commercial or OEM applications. You may create your own user interface, product branding and surrounding workflows. No separate integration fee or individual permission is required for this redistribution. The executable must remain unmodified and retain the filename starbonding-cli.exe. You must not reverse engineer, decompile, bypass its authentication, licensing or security controls, misrepresent its origin, or imply StarBonding endorsement. This permission does not grant access to the Service, a Partner API key, rights to resell plans, or a trademark licence beyond truthful identification of compatibility or inclusion. Service use requires a valid StarBonding account and is subject to these Terms.

5. OEM integrations and Partner API

• Partner API access, credentials, wallet or credit facilities and available services are issued and administered by StarBonding. API access is not obtained merely by redistributing the CLI.
• An authorised partner may use the API to create, renew or manage customer accounts within the permissions, prices, balances, limits and documentation applicable to that partner.
• Partners must use unique idempotency keys as documented, protect API credentials, accurately identify intended customers and services, and reconcile API responses and wallet transactions.
• Partners are responsible for obtaining authority to submit customer data, providing their own customers with appropriate notices and support, and complying with privacy, consumer, tax, marketing and other laws applicable to their offering.
• Any separate signed partner agreement or order controls over these Terms where it expressly conflicts.

6. Trials, plans, activation and limits

• Trial duration, data allowance, restream count and other limits are those displayed when the trial is issued. Trials may be restricted, changed or withdrawn to prevent abuse.
• Paid-plan duration, maximum simultaneous restream destinations, price and stated limits are those shown at checkout or in the applicable order or partner documentation.
• A plan starts at the activation event shown during purchase or account issuance. Expiry is calculated from that event, not active streaming time, unless expressly stated otherwise.
• A plan does not renew automatically unless clearly disclosed and separately authorised. Where enabled, you may cancel future renewal before the next billing date.
• "Unlimited" data transfer means no stated fixed transfer quota; it does not mean unlimited throughput, connections, destinations, server capacity or uninterrupted availability.

7. Pricing, payment, partner balances, taxes and refunds

Prices, currencies, partner charges and taxes are shown at checkout or in applicable partner documentation or orders. Payments may be processed by Razorpay or another displayed provider, whose terms and privacy practices also apply. Partner wallet or credit balances, if offered, are not bank deposits and may be used only for authorised StarBonding services. Except where checkout, a written order or applicable law provides otherwise, payments and completed partner service purchases are for the stated plan period and are not refundable merely because the Service was unused or partially used. This does not exclude mandatory consumer-law rights. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method or applicable partner balance within a reasonable period, subject to provider processing times.

8. How network bonding and restreaming work

• Performance depends on your encoder, computer, adapters, Internet connections, mobile networks, routing, congestion, destination platforms and other systems outside our control.
• Aggregated performance is not guaranteed to equal the mathematical sum of connection speeds. Latency, packet loss, jitter, quality and protocol overhead affect usable capacity.
• The software may reduce use of a busy or degraded link and redistribute streaming traffic. This is adaptive behaviour, not a guarantee against interruption.
• Operational buffering may temporarily hold packets for transmission or recovery. It is not a recording, backup or archive.
• You remain responsible for encoder, bit rate, destinations, credentials, firewalls, networks, equipment and monitoring the live output.

9. Your streams and destination credentials

You retain ownership of audiovisual content and other material transmitted through the Service ("User Content"). You grant us only the limited worldwide, non-exclusive right necessary to receive, split, transmit, reassemble, temporarily buffer and forward User Content at your direction and to diagnose the Service. You represent that you have all rights, permissions and licences required to transmit User Content and use every destination account. RTMP URLs and stream keys are confidential credentials and we use them solely for configured destinations.

10. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to transmit unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, defamatory, abusive or malicious content; stream to unauthorised destinations or evade restrictions; operate it as a general-purpose VPN, proxy, relay, anonymity service, botnet component or attack tool; introduce malware, probe or attack systems, interfere with users, overload infrastructure, manipulate usage records or bypass plan, licence or security limits; resell plans or use the Partner API without authorisation; or violate applicable law, orders, destination-platform terms or Internet-provider terms. Custom branding and redistribution of the unmodified CLI are permitted as stated in Section 4.3.

11. Third-party services

The Service interoperates with third-party encoders, Internet providers, payment providers and streaming destinations selected by you. We do not control their availability, policies, moderation, ingest behaviour, account actions or technical changes. You are responsible for complying with their terms.

12. Availability, maintenance and changes

We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or loss-free transmission. We may maintain or relocate servers, update routing, release software updates or modify features for security, capacity, legal or operational reasons. Where practicable, we will give notice of planned material interruptions or material adverse changes. We may require supported software versions and stop supporting obsolete or insecure versions. No SLA applies unless separately signed.

13. Privacy, logs and lawful disclosure

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle account, payment, partner, device, network, diagnostic and streaming-related data. The Service is not designed to make users anonymous. We may retain and disclose records when required by law, valid legal process, competent authority, or reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents or violations. We will not voluntarily disclose User Content or personal data for unrelated purposes except as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. Account deletion and personal-data requests may be made through support@starbonding.com, subject to legal retention requirements and unresolved transactions or disputes. We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary for a security threat, unlawful use, payment reversal, insufficient partner balance, infrastructure harm, credential compromise, court or government direction, or serious breach. For other remediable breaches, we will ordinarily provide notice and an opportunity to cure. On expiry or termination, your right to use the Service ends; the MIT License and the CLI redistribution permission are not terminated for unrelated Service expiry, but may be enforced or terminated according to their terms and applicable law. Provisions that by their nature should survive continue.

15. Intellectual property and trademarks

Except for rights expressly granted under the MIT License or Section 4.3, the Service, software, website, documentation, designs, trademarks, logos and related technology are owned by or licensed to Star Video Vision and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No ownership is transferred to you. You may truthfully state that your application integrates or includes the StarBonding CLI, but you may not use StarBonding names or logos in a way that implies sponsorship, certification or endorsement without written permission. Feedback may be used by us without restriction or payment, without publicly identifying you without permission.

16. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim implied warranties where lawfully permitted. We do not warrant that bonding will prevent every interruption, every link will be used continuously, a destination will accept or publish a stream, an API request will produce a commercial outcome, or the Service will meet broadcast, emergency, safety-critical or mission-critical requirements. Nothing excludes a warranty or consumer remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential loss, or lost profit, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated savings, data or opportunity. Our aggregate liability arising from a plan or event will not exceed the amount paid for the affected plan or Partner API transaction. This cap does not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, obligations that cannot lawfully be capped, or other liability that law does not permit us to limit.

18. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify Star Video Vision against third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from unlawful User Content, lack of streaming rights, unauthorised destination use, unauthorised customer-data submission, or material violation of Section 10. We will give reasonable notice and allow participation in the defence. This does not require a consumer to indemnify us for our negligence, breach or unlawful conduct.

19. Force majeure

Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including widespread Internet or cloud failure, cable cuts, power failure, natural disaster, epidemic, war, civil disturbance, government action, labour disruption, or failure of a third-party network or destination, provided reasonable steps are taken to reduce the impact.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, law, security or business operations. The revised Terms will show a new effective date. We will provide reasonable advance notice of material adverse changes when practicable. Changes will not retroactively reduce accrued rights or override mandatory law. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance; if you do not accept, stop using the Service before that date.

21. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any non-waivable consumer or statutory forum, courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India will have exclusive jurisdiction. Before court proceedings, each party should attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute through written notice and 30 days of discussion, unless urgent interim relief is required.

22. General terms and order of precedence

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, applicable checkout or order details and separately signed agreements constitute the entire agreement. For the StarBonding Windows GUI source, its included MIT License prevails over an inconsistent provision of these Terms. The public CLI redistribution permission in Section 4.3 prevails over a general software restriction in these Terms. A separately signed partner agreement or order prevails over a direct conflict for its subject matter. Unenforceable provisions will be limited or removed only as necessary. Failure to enforce is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganisation, sale or transfer subject to applicable law. Nothing creates a partnership, employment, franchise or agency relationship.
